Our annual event in July hosted at the iconic, Hollywood inspired Lafayette Hotel Swim Club & Bungalows. This one day yoga festival features locally renowned teachers offering a mirage of classes. With 9 classes to choose from you’ll pick 3 and create the adventure filled or restorative day you’ve been searching for.
This year’s classes include Goddess Flow with live music (vinyasa), Dance Flow Yoga, Partner Yoga, Inversions and Arm Balances, Meditation and Reiki, Sound Bath, SUP yoga in the pool and more. In addition our resident DJ Teal Ideal will be bumping beats by the pool, so get your dance-y pants on (or just your bikini) and get ready for THE yoga event of the summer! Early bird tickets highly recommended as we tend to sell out. Ticket is considered preregistration, classes will be first come, first serve so we recommend arriving early.
A mirage of beauty, located just 45 minutes south of Puerto Vallarta are the colorful towns of Sayulita and San Pancho, rich in Mexican history and culture. We will seek to honor the sacred cycles of life and death through the eyes of the Mexican celebration of Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) ; a multi-day celebration of these very cycles. We have the chance to honor both those who have passed as well as thank and then relinquish the parts of ourselves we wish to see perished. Our retreat focuses on the shadow work and the light that emerges from it. This retreat is a true adventure in addition to daily yoga classes, healthy meals and a bevy of activities to choose from including: stand-up paddle boarding, fishing, kayaking, course and motorcycle tours, and tanning and relaxing on the beach, exploring our little corner of paradise and so much more! On this adventure you're welcome to do as much or as little as you like. A true create-your-own-adventure style retreat. We will also partake in the local Dia de los Muertos celebration and eat a hosted dinner paired with tequila in the lively town of Sayulita.
Heart Space is dedicated to building a tribe of self-empowered and connected yogis through adventure seeking retreats, creative yoga workshops and transformational events. Our mission is to create a global community of hearts united by providing the space and resources for passionate practitioners to connect, transform, and serve.
Heart Space was first created in 2012 as a way to bring students together outside the space of the studio and into the space of connection; to themselves and to others. Created by Lauren Autenrieth, ERYT500; when she's not teaching yoga, traveling the world on one of her epic retreats or hosting the next Yoga Pool Party you can find her snuggled up on her couch with a book and her tiny puppies, Dora and Manny.
Lauren has made the exploration of the heart and the world her personal mission; on retreats you can expect daily yoga and meditation classes, local and healthy meals, and full days of rich culture, adventure and raw connection.

You work hard. Your days are full of the hustle and the bustle. We totally get it.
If you're anything like me you get lost in your work, you pour your heart and soul into it and take pride in what you create. Most of the time it's rewarding but even those of us with the best jobs (ahem...I teach yoga and travel for a living) get burnt out, lose inspiration and just plain need a break. How am I supposed to support my students if my metaphorical giving well has run dry. For me, travel isn't just a want it's necessary to my self-care. Travel has a myriad of physical, mental and emotional health benefits including reduced cortisol levels (stress-induced hormones), a shift in perspective that you're sure to bring back with you; suddenly a hard day at the office doesn't seem so bad when you see people in developing countries toiling in sun-scorched fields from morning to dark and still managing to maintain a genuine smile when they pass you on the street.
Gratitude abounds when you are able to put the world in perspective outside the lens of just your experience. No one comes back from a journey the way they started it.
